Genesis 24: I was Led to You (Isaac and Rebekah)

I prayed for a sign, not a spark
Just a heart that shines when the world goes dark
And before I knew your name
I felt the wind… and He whispered the same
I was in the field, waiting slow
A lifetime walking, trusting hope
When I saw you ride that dusty road
He said, "That's her — the one I wrote"
You were grace in motion, calm and kind
And I knew right then, you were mine
Not by chance or perfect plan
But by the moving of His hand
I filled my jar just like before
Didn't know I stood at a sacred door
His servant prayed, I heard no sound
But I poured the water and turned around
And there you stood — like peace in skin
A holy yes that came within
He led me there through every mile
And all I did… was give a smile
I was led to you, by fire, by wind
By prayers I didn't know were in
Before I saw, He saw us too
And every step… was walkin' through
His perfect will, His perfect time
He made your heart and shaped it mine
I was led to you — it's true
But I was led by Him… to you
We don't have to chase or strive
Love like this is sanctified
When He writes the vow, the hands align
And grace becomes the sacred sign
I was led to you — through desert dust
By a God who's faithful, kind, and just
Through signs and whispers, thirst and sky
He knew our hearts… before we tried
I don't need a map or proof
I see the truth when I see you
I was led to you — and now I see
We were always part of His story
I was led to you…
I was led by Him…
To love… and be made new
