Hi Hungry, I'm Dad

Sunday morning hunger is the worst
Dads watching football mother went to church
I walk down the stairs and up into the den
And voicing my concern you know what my father said?

Hi hungry, I’m dad

I check the fridge to find that there’s nothing
I lower my standards and check again
It’s halftime my dad is now freed from his trance
But when i inquired again he never changed his stance
