On the green playground of the keen
Straight on (we the lemmings share the sea)
Into the abyss (got to follow whatever be)
Which has been redefined as peak
And you got to believe
All you've seen on the magic blackboard of the keen

Caught in the spell - bewitched by their game

Counting numbers, using power tools
Steering blindly under the delusion of control

The whole world consists of black boxes
Lined up for the great statistical evaluation
Within the strategy plan
To cover the demand by global resources

Almost all feedback is expired
Linking the detail to the whole
The captains in their ivory towers
Losing the link to ground control
Like echoes in labyrinths
Entangled and fading
Reverberating

The system's self consistent nature
Protected against any sense of doubt
No way for inconvenient questions
Busy with intrique, scheme and plot
Like some kind of parasite exhausting its foundation
By alienation

Within the house of lies it's hard
To see the light of day
It seems that no one can afford
To walk the obvious way

Tragical developments
Proceed without a note
Boundless faith relying on
Self healing power of
The system

Confusing terminology
Encoding banal contents
All systems ruled by brains
Which never had to learn the basic lines

Survival of the strongest
Is the principle they mean
The struggle of the powers
Consuming energy required
For salvation
