Grey Lines

The creatures outside are breathing, a wonder to be alive
(But) circumstances failed you, now you've a date with the knife
I see so much of your life parallels with mine
A burden to be crossing (These) grey lines

It all seems so familiar but my focus is on the fall
When your stuck in the middle or with your back to the wall
Any person whos tells you they're life is nothing more than a game
Know your own existence is one in the same

Now to spoil the party with our own complacency
When you look in the mirror can you not see the duality
When you look at your own life, nothing more than shadows on the wall
Separate in its own interests, the freedom before the fall
