Mama got laid off in April
Daddy downsized in June
By the first week of October
The bank foreclosed our home
Now it's Christmas season
And my only wish is clear
Hope my present comes in a great big box
So we got somewhere to live next year

Then came the repo man
Now we get to walk to the highway
To pick up the bottles and cans
