Deep below through a sea of mist
In the realm where dead men dwell
Lies a monster, a dragon lord
Next to the mill, game and weald
Chaos, danger, the spawn of the dark
Creator of power in a ditch
Gnawing the roots that suppose a tree
Our world will wither to black light

In the land of the ice and the cold
He feasts upon the dead
Rips the flesh and drinks the blood
He shins a fear like lead
Bringer of our destruction
His shadow forever grows
Ender of our primeval age
Our time he overthrows
Enemy of Hræsvelg
On top of Yggdrasil
Caught by hatred, madness
Through times eternal and foreboding shall

His primordial decree
Proclaims the evil day
Ruler of all evil
Endings of our world shall

Naked and weary, the scourge of the tree
The night before the dawn
Long will he lead us to Ragnarök
The beast, our world, all evil once did spawn

Through days of war, we'll see
The fall of Yggdrasil
For which impatience led
Will not eternal end
