Bright as day the fires
Gates to hell the pyres
I transcend
Screams of those that are purged
As one voice emerges
Coming back
Talking to me as if
Trapped behind my forehead
At the plaguer
What spell has befallen
My senses deceiving
My sanity proven
Faint

The tragedy of human ignorance taking lives
My conviction breaks away
Repeated by those who fear to question
I killed in the name of absurdity

I'll bear the burden

I am here
With my focused mind's force I fight
Within you
Still the intruder finds her way in
The revenant in my innermost self
Tearing my wit to shreds with delight

Depictions of my own demise
The visions can not be controlled

I must gather wood to
Build my blazing death bed
Create
She is me and I can't
Stay in this world longer
Atone
Soaked in oil I ascend
Won't let the smoke smother
Die
Torch and I united
Skin and flesh are melting
As I hear her screaming
Burn!
