Jesus at the Kenmore

I met Jesus at the Kenmore and he said, "I'm going to Heaven"
He said that he'd meet me there after his last round
When the waitress hollered, "Last call" and turned down all the lights
I saw Jesus at the Kenmore and I'd all drunk up last night
Well, he wasn't wearing a long robe, he had tennies on his feet
He'd gotten a little older and his eyes looked kind of beat
He was wearing one of them ball caps and on the front it read
"I'd rather push my Ford than drive a Chevrolet"
Well, he was getting kind of belligerent
And they tried to throw him out
He pulled a smoke from behind his ear and he began to shout
Said, "I'm bringing you boys a message and if there's any doubt
You better straighten up and fly right or you know I'll take you out"
Well, we all just sat and stared waiting for his next move
But Jesus just tugged his beard and ordered him a brew
The waitress hollered, "Last call", we all bought him a round
I met Jesus at the Kenmore and he almost took us down
