Foreign Dreams

From far away
Blood threshed skin
Fighting through the veil
It covers everything

A lonely child
Between night and day
Never slept at home
Searching for some hay

The eyes closed
Let the dreams begin
Feeling so much stronger
No longer feeling hunger

But suddenly
All the dreams collapse
Revealing all the darkness
To settle down instead
