I go up to my room, I'm watching TV

And then I'm looking for the switch
For the main light in the room, and I can't find it
And I'm looking everywhere
And I'll be honest with you
I think I'm unbelievable at turning lights off
I take it for granted

I think I could go to all your homes tonight
And get all your lights off without any of your help
So 15 minutes go by, I start crying a little bit
I mean, I have a family that depends on me
And I can't make this room dark
I finally left the room and went in the hallway

To this day, I don't know how to turn that light off
