I can see light
Upon the eastern ridge
Casting shadows further
Drown the flames and leave no trace

I can hear cries
Upon the eastern wind
The sound of distant sorrow
Compels me to move on

Unsure of the path laid before me

Careful not to wake the sleeping beasts

Anything could well befall of me
