Don’t Deflate

It's a shame I've gotta start out like this, whining boy
But I feel a little sick and numb these days
Whatever wind I had there blowing my main sail
Would seem to me has shifted

I must say on me this grated
Every time I get frustrated
Had to kick this mood I hated

I'm thinking maybe now I better understand
A couple of my friends that get this way
What a bummer of a ride this downward spiral is
To fall into your sleep dreading each next day
