I done wash myself in the blood of the freedom fighters
And I am cleansed
I done drink from the sweat that roll off the face
And run like a river through the hills
It quench me thirst
I done eat from the bread of sacrifice
It was hard like stone
But, it satisfied me hunger
Now I stand determined in the valley of decision
With Africa as me shield
And the sword in me hand to chop down oppression
For the truth and the right, for the love and the light
I, I come to claim my rightful inheritance
