The darkened stares drench the floor
Upon the ground within the earth
Cracks and seeps as air weeps
Flickering light, the wounds are far
Beams from below, shadow in chase
Feverish images thrown in mirrors of woe

The eyes they all share in this tragic core
An empty seat, the river runs dry
Nothing said
Words in red

Fear for the truth will wane
As the stars fall
Now the world turns

The heart's inferno
Incurse the past
Is there no more?
