The Spaceman

I wake up every day
To find myself in the same place
Surrounded by this life
Trapped inside this space and time

I'll find my way to escape

I want to leave this world behind
And travel like a spaceman
I want to walk the stars at night
I want to be the spaceman

I watch the skies go by
And think about a better life
So many miles away
From this mess that we've made

I'll find somewhere and go there
