I feel closer to the sun than I've ever felt

So close to its rays I felt the shackles melt
Back to its origins form, then I was reborn
Free, no longer misinformed, the truth was airborne
I'm now reformed, in the clouds I felt rejuvenated
And all the dreadful things attached to me, I had them amputated
No harm or threats allowed up here, I'm completely isolated
All those mental-abuse-type methods have now been antiquated

I felt consolidated, the feelings have to be articulated

In all this time I was taught, our ways of healing were mutilated

My DNA is sacred, I've just been too heavily sedated

With food for thought, water for soul, the temple won't see a drought
Fair-weather waterspouts in the distance under a cumulus
