Kidult

I'm in my thirties - so when will I feel like growing up?
I like to think that I'm independent
I do my best to be responsible
But I need little help every now and again

I've only just learned to stay out of my overdraft

We are a generation of kidults

However it's complicated and I feel guilty about it
But it's also quick to remind me that
I'm lucky to have as much freedom as I do
The best thing I can do is to forge a brand new path of my own
