The Persistence from Memorial Chasm

I had a dream this night
Leading me into chapter one
Of a versified event
Numb, slipping right into
The void of the past
Which seemed within my sphere

But dreams cannot heal a scarred within
Today i'm not able to touch

I felt a strange delight
Breathing life into my dreams
Of a level sentient
A new intrusion of the realm of illusions
That caused me all that pain

And so wrong these dreams of joy i must repress
Forever living for a future unknown

I felt so good this night
Reading the lines of chapter two
I replenishing my wish
Iredeemable
But somehow it melted my day
So soon to be

But dreams cannot heal a scarred within
Today i'm not able to touch

The dreams to be recalled...
To the past they belong
Fake happiness and joy
No more a dream, it haunts
Memories want me back
But dies at dawn
And so wrong these dreams of joy i must repress
Forever living for a future unknown
