Through the storm I wiped my tears, the rain mixed with the lonely years
my spirit guide was led astray, I marched alone throughout my days
if I have vowed to find the light, I must have hid the truth at night
buried within the slumber of a clouded mind, lest I find that reality is a sequenced nightmare
time is frozen, but forced to go through the motions, as a tired world with bleak emotions
surrenders to the cause of nothing, and so I close my eyes, prepare my blood for sacrifice
