Of course a foundation can be rocked
An ending can be long or abrupt
Of course it's easy to promise things
When you have no idea what the next day brings
I don't want to lose the touch
To me it's a lot, to you it is not much
I don't want to trap myself
Or gather dust, abandoned on a shelf
I've used up every word I know
So it's time I go
I don't want to forget
To me it matters, to you it might not
I don't want to feel wasted
Or regret the things I said
