Someday down the road
I'll find what I'm searching for
But until then, I'll wait, with the love of a friend
And I'll stay, mad at the world a few more days
Intoxicated from the way she changed my pain

They speak, to me like devils in the dark
My thoughts, make crooked remarks about me
And I hope I can get along with myself before my love, my girl
Decides to sail

I'd climb, the highest mountain in the world with my girl
If it meant, we could change this rocking world overnight
And end, all these stupid fights
And we all, get back, to what started it all
