Moving forward, pushing onward, move the parts, clock the time
Pressure building, pleasure seeking, dangerous paradigm
Feeling nothing, must feel something, dreaming of the sublime
Skin cut open, blood on my hands, wishing I would just die

Lost and afraid
Caught in a daze
I've lost my way
Yet I never had it
Built up inside
Up to my eyes
Blood tears I've cried
Waiting up for the release

Hit the bottle, slam some pills down, pass myself, kill the time
Cutting, bleeding, insane feeling, something wrong with my mind
Faithless, godless, hopeless, cope-less
Call for help, desperate pleas
If I knew God, I wouldn't try to hurt myself just to find the release
Scars on my arms, torn up insides, actions all have a price
I chose my path, rebel, outcast, did not take their advice
I'm so thankful Jesus found me, picked me up, changed my life
Love has feeling, life has meaning, let in Christ, drop the knife
