Appearances are everything
In my mind I'm a far cry behind
But I'll keep portraying this false identity

When they are seen through the filter
This picture perfect life
Free of all imperfections

Everyone is selling themselves

I judge myself by others success
I rate my life second to yours

Nothing seems to be good enough
Nothing fills the hole

Always concerned on what I am lacking
Forever failing to live in this moment

Existence spent
Wallowing as life passes me by

I struggle to keep my feet flat on the ground
My head space is defying the earths gravity
