Farewell to Forever

This is my, my goodbye to a blue-eyed girl,
My farewell to forever.
No long last kiss, only this:
Someone coming to their senses.
It's taken me a long, long time to get here.

But she's so far from what she was,
She doesn't need me like before,
There's been too much forgetting.
For that part of her busy life,
