Delusion

I saw an angel from heaven,
And he looked at me.
"I think I've seen your face".
And then, when he smiled at me,
The devil showed his cards:
The delusion of bliss.

I can't make it go away.
Inside myself,
There's a void that seeks a glimmer of light.

Will this end with my dreary soul?

Thrown into the trench,
Like a toxic waste, to my end.
