Alone, I wander this world
Obscured in shadow
I drag my feet across the sand
Carved a valley of sorrow
In terror I cry
Beheld the end of my life

So I let my demons out, to conquer this ferocious land
But, I was conquered by them
In these sands I now dwell, until this place was all I knew

Fire of a dying sun bears upon me
Now death has come, screaming my name
The lure of the oasis, it beckons me

So I stand upon the mounds to search for any sign of life
Glimpse, of green

(I was) Lead through the Ocean of Sand
Through the eyes of the dying
Through eyes stained with crying
I see a dead world, I know my bones will
