My show business days
They said were over with and done
But the time had come to grace the stage

Once again I had to take the stage
And show them how it was done
I was the only one

They said I was nuts
They didn't know'd how t' cut it up
I showed 'em how t' do it right

Each and every night a standing ovation
But then the end of the show business days
We knew they had, had to end

And as I look back on my memories
Oh I've got some good show business memories
Like the time with Rosie gal Marie

She has memories
Ahh it's all I got left
My show business days were here
And now they've left me alone
