Threshold of Existence

Every moment that we shared together
Left its mark on me
Like clay it shaped me
Into everything I have become
I now feel the flood of emotion
I realize you are always with me
You sit on a throne at the base of my
Spiritual architecture

Intertwined eternally
By every sentiment
Bound forever
By every promise

I feel you there like the presence of sunlight

Your light field scorches the surface
Of the earth
All darkness concealed
By your glowing embers
We exist here
Defined by our imperfections
No longer... Trapped in stasis...
