You abandon us - you fucking dogs!
You rubbed us the fruit of the Earth!
You poisoned water and sky for this!
You raped our past, present, and future for this!
You killed our gods!
You killed our culture!

Yet it was you who dragged us into this valley
Its ways askance, we stumble,
Combing the infinite coils
Of an ancient city
Of numberless crimes.

We shall drink its poisoned water,
Nestled in fold upon fold,
The secret of most secret knolls
Rippling like pustules
Against unrelenting skies
Black as these riven plates of stone
Slaking in perpetuum
As slow as the spiraling arms
Of galaxies.
