Concordat (The Pact) I

Epiphany of enlightenment
From living death so dormant
Can not the flesh be more?
Can ritual open the door?
To the desires for war
To the goals laid afore
As mist, then shadow, it did writhe and twist
Tranquil disciple, convert from subsist
Materialized, approaching the acolyte
Beyond this mortality "I shall grant sight"
"Sight can be blinded, I demand the night!"
"Desire to dwell where my brethren hail?"
"Not dwell, but rule." A divus to prevail
Blood flows, punctured flesh, helix the blackened souls
Seal the pact, no penitence for will
Alas, ascension to unfold
