Vomit the earth and spit out the ashes of your mothers and fathers
For still you reap what vanity they sowed
Harvest again, it shatters your spine
Fruits of abundance seal your lips
In the lake you can see the stars
But in the sky they're none

Will your eyes look back upon that burning city?
And your flesh contort into a pillar of salt?
For the lust of the flesh
And the pride of life come not from the Lord's hands
They come from the world like serpents
Slithering from a shrinking hole
