The Wizard and the Lizard

It's a new day the sun has risen
A c goes c-a-doodle-doo
A cat curls his tail
And then meows
Alarm clock rings
A new day has begun
Lizard complains
My voice never rings true
Wizard proclaims
That I shall cure you
And seek out the sun
From the deepest south
And place it in a beam???

And from that day onwards
The lizard's voice rang true
Echoing thousands of times
Surfing the canyons rock
Well, that's just the way it was
