Senseless Act

Im trying hard to get back to the real world
And as of late i think im almost there
Im getting better... i think i found the meaning
For waking up and feeling so aware

I bet this is what it feels like in hell
When you cant control your body
You cant control your health

This isnt just a senseless act
To me its so much more than that
I play this game of hide and seek
Im always hiding
Im using all the strength in me
To overcome this mental thing
And now im finally breaking out
And i wont fall apart

So recently i left myself a few times
It felt so good to know i wasnt there
Ill get to know this person taking over
And hopefully he'll wash away the fear

I guess this is what it feels like in hell
When you cant control your body
Cant control your health

An act of god?...nah
A human being
Fighting in a battle
That most of us have seen
A miracle?...nah
Its all on me
Fighting for my own life
Cause nothing comes for free
