Acceptance

Within the darkest hour
Time to let go of my hold
Our tears flow in the end
Flowers are left for the dead
Time, just grains of sand
Passing through hands of time

Remembering the days
Times are gone, memories remain
Quietly I will waste away
Silently I will writhe in pain
Hiding away from all the ache
Hoping to see you again

Memories drifting through the night
Burning ash
Embers in the sky
Burdens call lingers in the air
In the silence I am engulfed
I will remember this pain

I walk among the stars
No wishes to be made
I cross to greener grass
And only found my grave
No debts left to repay
Death wipes all in the end
Descend into the earth
Anticipate the cold
The suffering in life
Has created this woe
