Frozen like bugs in amber

Flicker sudden

Silent as stone
Sable and starless

Foiling the total darkness
False and radiant sights
Wheels spin in reels and riddles
Tunnels burst from pale eyes

Now I see strangers far away
I don't know what they say
Or where they are
