Uncertainty for the times that be
A blighted seed permeates the entity
Infecting and directing
The roots of malignancy transforming and absorbing
Harbinging essence of instability
Ingesting and repressing
The need to see beyond dreams taken by the leprosy

Forced to become hosts to a miasmic strain of corrosion
While black wings circle above a rotting existence
Waiting for the listless to finally succumb to the weight of stillness

Bending to thrones, deceived by hope
We believe there to be any meaning
Slitting the throats of the trodden and lame
Insatiable hunger for self-righteous gain
All for nothing

Alone we walk in a forsaken world
Alone we're condemned
Slowly waiting to waste away
