Within despair

The walls
That I perceive as reality
Are beginning
To break down around me

This hell this well
I can't escape from
Put me back in the grave that I came from

There's a fire that conspires to consume
The light in me that came from you
I don't know if I'm losing my faith
But I'm losing my strength
To fight another day

Torn apart by the curse of duality
Between the God of life
And the hell in me
But there's your hope
That won't relent
It's attempts to preclude
My damnation

I call out
Merciful God I am pleading
Sometimes I wanna hang from the ceiling
With this rope tied around my neck
I try to hang on every word you've said

Give me peace
The certainty
I won't be claimed by the entity
Every night I drown in scorn
I will not curse the day I was born
