I lay on empty bed
Just loneliness beside me
Cold breeze freezes my body
I think I'm dying

Flashes from childhood
As clear as yesterday
Drifts me to slumber
And fades this all to gray

There's a golden forest
And a blue bird of dreams
The bird sings a lullaby to children
And takes me to their realm
