The Captain’s Creed

Tall waves, crashing all around,
Take heed, nearby thunder sound,
To the starboard side
Whip across the deck
Cold rains wash my face and neck

Standing strong and tall,
Man against the squall,
Cunning skill the only tool I need,
Lightning bolts are cast, severing our mast
Still we must fulfill the captain's creed
