Should we fast and keep all our religious ways
Should we make a show of keeping all the holy days
Should we lock the doors, and turn away the weak and poor
Hide away, comfortably ignore the pain

Turn away, and I will turn away from you
Hide away, and I will hide my light from you
But I will return, for I burn with jealousy
I love you still, even when you're far from me
