Minute

I thought you could take me away for a minute, but now i know it was just that way for a minute. i told no lies, no alibis, our little love was real for a minute. good thing i can only stay for a minute, i've never felt that way, even for a minute. for a minute, i believed in you, there was nothing i wouldn't do. for a minute with you, i gave up everything i had. now it's over and i feel relief for a minute. i criticize trouble and end up being the one who's in it. my shame grows strong, i'm know i've done wrong, but our little love was real for a minute.
