I went looking around but
Never could ever recall
What scares you in the life
Well I'd vanquish it right in the fog

Biding my time
Just waitin around while I'm small
All through the night
Building on a body of songs

But I was there tucked in your head

When you're finally awake & I'm not tall

Often in the night
I try to pass you advice
Over slow moving chords

Somehow if you never wake up again
I won't stay quiet
But the songs still cut through the void
