As honest as an apple from an apple tree
Strong as an oak
As busy as a beech

With a scattering of seeds
And a sudden flash of magnolia

Both the bed that I was born in
And the coffin I'll be burnt in

From the tree top to beneath the floor

We build a world out of wood
Fill our bellies on its fruit
