I'm Stuck in a Tree

I'm stuck in a tree
Maybe stuck is the wrong word
Not physically stuck
There is physically a tree
I am physically in the tree
But I'm not stuck

There's leaves around my head
Branches around my arms
But I'm not stuck
My leg is caught in the crook between two branching, forking segments

I'm not stuck
I slipped from a little higher up
I didn't tell anyone
Who's there to tell that you're going to go climb a tree?
Who even cares?
Doesn't even matter
I'm not stuck

My leg forks like the two branches
I can't feel my toes anymore
I can't bear to look at it
But thank God I'm not stuck, at least
