There's a legend that I heard before, a story I've been told
Where senoritas bring more joy than a pyramid of gold
A town untouched by pirate hands, where rum it flows like honey
Where men are all just dandies and the chest are full of money

So load up the cannon boys and drink up all the booze
We'll light up the sky tonight, we're off the Veracruz

We've plundered Margarita, Maracaibo and St. Kitts
But Cruz girls they are rumored to have the greatest... bits
So tonight we're headed westward, seeking out our legends pleasure
We'll attack them and we'll sack
Them just to find our greatest treasure

We pulled into the docks one night, all ready for the seige
But the cruz girls they were waiting with open arms and pleas
Fiestas and siestas and tequila and tortillas
And beautiful young ladies with invites to their villas
