Do Not Worry (Matthew 6:25-26, 28-33)

Seek first, his kingdom and his righteousness
And all these things will be added
Seek first, his kingdom and his righteousness

Do not worry about your life, what you'll eat or drink;
About your body, or what you'll wear.
Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?
Look at the birds of the air; they don't sow, they don't reap
Or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them

Seek first, his kingdom and his righteousness
And all these things will be added
Seek first, his kingdom and his righteousness
And all these things will be added to you

And why do you worry about clothes?
See how the lilies of the field grow.
They don't work, they don't spin.
Yet not even Solomon in all of his splendor
Was dressed like one of these.
And if God so clothes the grass of the field,
Which today is alive and tomorrow
Is thrown in the fire, will he not much more clothe you—
Oh you of little faith?

So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?'
'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
For the people who do not know God run after all these things,
And your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
