The Sleeper Awakes

In the mist of dark stormy night
Figures move and scared children cry
Shadows dancing next to my bed
All I wish is just to be dead
Tried it all - pills, magic and spell
Evil doctor and witch straight from Hell
Got no clue how I can end like this
How the one cannot just fall asleep?

Don't remember how I closed my eyes
Black abyss calmly soaked me alive
Flash of light and all in reverse
It's exactly what I was waiting for
In a second somebody's hands
Shaking me and trying to wake
Voices whispering - hope he's still sane
And will like what the world is today
