Prevail

Riddance to everything that hinders
The sin that easily engulfs
Let us stand with perseverance
Against the spirits of this world

Let us fix our eyes upon Christ
The author and perfecter of faith
Who for the joy set before Him
Endured the cross scorning its shame

Consider Him who endured such opposition
So that we will not grow weary
In our battle against flesh and blood
God will prevail

Strengthen our feeble arms
And our weak knees, so that we will know
That suffering produces perseverance
And blessed are the persecuted
