As I awake from my sleep
And reflect on the life I keep
I've tried so many different ways
And watched each one of them decay
Clouds close in, curtains around my brain
This world of finance is driving me insane

I look in the mirror and see my face
Is that a smile or just a grimace?

My hand begins to shake with that inner fear

It's hard to know what to do
When everyone relies on you
A mortgage, a car, a wife and two kids
I'm fed up with my job, what a way to live

With the sea lapping round my feet
