Red sun, burning in the sky
Over fields of corn and rye
Full moon shining clear and bright
As we celebrate the night

Hail the rain and thunder sound
The wheel keeps turning round
Hail the harvest, corn and grain
All that falls shall rise again

On this night of Lughnasa
Calling friends from near and far
Leaves that turn from green to gold
As the woodland tales unfold

Earth and water, hoof and horn
All that dies shall be reborn
Wind and fire burning bright
